TUMI has refreshed its two key men’s collections this year, Alpha and Harrison, with new colours, materials, and silhouettes built for daily work and travel.
As we get older, we start to appreciate the little things, from the taste of a fine whisky to the attentions of a fine woman. Quality becomes something we actively seek out, functionality a new mantra that replaces the laissez-faire leanings of our youth. So it is with the essentials of a life led in Asia’s busiest cities, from the ruggedly elegant backpack of our daily commute to the indispensable four-wheeled spinner we grab for weekend escapes.
If you’re in the market for a seemingly indestructible case or a sling that can keep pace, you’re in luck with new Fall/Winter additions from TUMI, available in soul-soothing shades of green, blue, and cognac.
TUMI Alpha: The NextGen Update

Adding to the collection’s latest generation, which was launched earlier this year, TUMI has revealed new shades across six of its core Alpha pieces. The Alpha line is built around the brand’s signature FXT Ballistic Nylon, a tightly woven, high-denier fabric originally developed for protective gear, with pieces tested for seam strength, tearing strength, zipper cycling, and water repellency. The new additions promise to be 70% more abrasion-resistant, making them the spontaneous traveller’s new go-to.
New colourways – Forest Camouflage, Navy and Deep Pine – arrive with enhanced features like streamlined interior pocketing, magnetic closures, and simplified access points geared toward commuters and frequent flyers who need to move quickly through security lines and open-plan offices. A great example is the Medium 15″ Expandable Backpack, which sees a handy expansion zip added to its existing organised compartments and dedicated laptop pocket.
With pieces that run the gamut from backpacks and briefcases to slings, duffels and both carry-on and checked luggage, think of this as a solid investment in your future travels.
TUMI Harrison: Fall 2026 Expansion

TUMI has also expanded its Harrison collection for Fall 2026, adding new leather finishes and two new bag shapes to a collection based on clean silhouettes with pared-down details. Designed for men who value quality and timeless style, the collection now welcomes Cognac Bombe (yes, it sounds like it works for tips) and Midnight Black as permanent colourways, while Deep Pine and Ink/Suede arrive as seasonal options.
The two new silhouettes are the Macri Small Crossbody, ideal for exploring Madrid’s vibrant markets or Sydney’s coastal enclaves, and the Thatcher Sling Backpack, an ideal small-form carry-on for last-minute weekends to Phuket’s heaving beach club scene or Shanghai’s art districts. The new additions join existing Harrison styles such as the Warren Backpack, Bradner Backpack, Nelson Duffel, and Gregory Sling, and while the collection sounds like a failed pop band from the 1960s, these are man-bags that just might outlive you.
Which is proof, if anything, of a life well lived.
